Westpac Rescue Helicopter airlifts motocross rider after Liddell accident

A motocross rider has been airlifted to John Hunter Hospital after a fall at Liddell, near Muswellbrook, on Sunday afternoon.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to the scene about midday on Sunday 28 June.

A man in his 30s had come off his bike and sustained leg and pelvic injuries. He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and the helicopter’s critical care medical team before being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital for further treatment.
