The NSW Police Force has today welcomed 349 new probationary constables, with Class 368 becoming the largest group to graduate in 13 years.
Two of the newly sworn officers will be posted at Singleton in the Hunter Valley Police District, boosting frontline policing capacity in the region. They were part of the ‘Be a Cop in your Home Town’ program.
The graduates officially attested this morning. They will begin their first day as sworn police officers on Monday.
The graduation also marked the attestation of six police dogs and the start of a new police cadetship program, with nine cadets aged 17 and 18 beginning their training.
