NSW farmers and farm business owners are being invited to a free online workshop on how to use artificial intelligence in their businesses.
The workshop, “AI on the Farm: A Practical Starting Point for Farm Businesses”, will be held online on Friday 30 October from 10.30am to 12 noon. It is designed for farmers who are curious about AI but unsure where to start, and no technical experience is required.
The session will cover what AI is and how it is being used in farm businesses, along with practical tools that can support farm operations. It will also look at where AI can genuinely save time and where caution is needed, how to identify opportunities in an individual business, and simple first steps for getting started with confidence.
Participants will receive an AI maturity self-assessment and practical actions for their farm business. Registered participants will also be offered two free 60-minute one-on-one online coaching sessions with a coach named Emma in the weeks after the workshop, as well as access to a recording of the session.
Registration for the Department of Primary Industries
and Regional Development hosted session is free, and can be done online through Humanitix.
