Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from this week on the Golden Highway near Woodland Road at Jerrys Plains, with maintenance work set to begin.
Muswellbrook Shire Council will carry out the work on behalf of Transport for NSW, with the project including widening road shoulders to improve safety for road users.
Work will take place from Monday 4 May to Friday 19 June, between 7am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Some work may also be undertaken on Saturdays between 8am and 1pm.

Traffic control measures, including single lane closures, alternating stop‑slow conditions and a reduced speed limit of 40 kilometres per hour, will be in place during the works.
