A driver has died after crashing into a tree in the state’s Hunter Region on Friday.
About 2pm, emergency services were called to Leconfield Road, Greta, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Hunter Valley Police District attended and found that a Kia sedan had crashed into a tree while navigating a bend in the road.

The driver, a 19-year-old man, died at the scene.
Forensic officers have attended and will examine the scene of the crash. A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
