Maison Dieu Road in Singleton is now closed to all traffic as construction of the Singleton Bypass continues.
The closure took effect from 7pm on Tuesday 9 June 2026 and is expected to remain in place until 5am on Wednesday 30 September 2026, weather permitting.
A detour via Magpie Street has been put in place for all vehicles for the duration of the closure.

The works involve the construction of the Maison Dieu interchange, which will connect the Singleton Bypass to the existing local road network once complete.
Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time and follow detour signage while the works are underway.
