Detectives are appealing for public assistance after a series of suspicious fires caused damage to vehicles and property across Muswellbrook over recent weeks.

Police and firefighters have responded to four separate incidents since early June, all occurring in the early hours of the morning. Police believe the fires may be linked and are treating each as suspicious.

The first incident occurred around 2:30am on Saturday 6 June, when emergency services were called to a vehicle fire on Carl Street, with damage sustained to the bonnet and engine block. Two days later, at around 2:30am on Monday 8 June, crews were called to Roger Street after a caravan cover was set alight. The caravan itself was not damaged, but the cover was destroyed.

No injuries have been reported across any of the four incidents.
