Muswellbrook Shire Council is inviting residents to learn more about energy projects proposed for the region at a community consultation evening next month.

The event will be held on Wednesday 13 May at McGully’s Gap Community Hall and will provide locals with the opportunity to speak directly with representatives from renewable energy projects operating or planned in the area.

From 4.30pm to 5.30pm, the session will run as a drop‑in event, with project stalls set up for one‑on‑one conversations and questions. Short project presentations will follow in the main hall from 5.30pm.

Council says the evening is designed to help residents get informed about what’s happening locally and to encourage community participation, with a free BBQ also planned on the night.
