Scone’s Warbirds airshow has been named a finalist in the 2026 Australian Event Awards, putting the Upper Hunter event alongside some of the country’s biggest festivals.
Paul Bennet Airshows, which runs the Warbirds Over Scone event, made the finalist list alongside the Deni Ute Muster, Canberra’s Floriade, Melbourne’s Moomba Festival and Vivid Sydney.
Warbirds Over Scone was held at Scone Airport in late March, featuring an airshow showcasing unique former military aircraft and skilled aviators.

The Australian Event Awards winners will be announced on October 21 at Coffs Harbour.
