Muswellbrook Shire Council is encouraging residents to attend community feedback sessions on the proposed master plan and rezoning of the Mount Arthur site, being held today and tomorrow.
Mayor Jeff Drayton said the sessions were an opportunity for the community to weigh in after years of work on the rezoning proposal.
“We really would like a lot of the community to try and get there over the next couple of days to give us some feedback on the proposed master plan and rezoning for that Mt Arthur site,” Drayton said.
The sessions are being held at Campbell’s Corner, just outside the shire’s admin office, with a number of government department representatives also in attendance. Drayton said any questions the community had should be able to be answered during the sessions.
Sessions are running today from 11am to 2pm and 5pm to 7pm, with a final session tomorrow from 11am to 2pm.
