Motorists are being advised of changed traffic conditions on Putty Road at Glenridding during major construction works this weekend.

Transport for NSW says crews will be working day and night to connect Puddy Road near Carrington Street to a newly constructed roundabout as part of the Singleton Bypass.

The work will take place from 7pm on Friday 22 May through to 5am Monday 25 May 2026, weather permitting, in an effort to minimise impacts during the working week.

During this time, traffic will be managed under a temporary two‑way shuttle flow arrangement.

Access will be maintained for local residents, pedestrians and cyclists, with Variable Message Signs installed to warn approaching drivers of changed conditions.

Transport for NSW has flagged significant delays for oversize over‑mass vehicles travelling through the site.

Motorists are urged to drive to conditions, follow traffic control directions and allow extra travel time.
