Police are investigating a break and enter at a shopping centre in Muswellbrook early this morning.
Officers from the Hunter Valley Police District responded to reports around 2.30am (December 3, 2025) after three people entered the centre on Rutherford Road about 1.30am and left roughly 45 minutes later.
Several stores including Harvey Norman and The Reject Shop were broken into during the incident, with extensive damage caused to stock. A crime scene was established and examined by specialist police.

Investigations are continuing, and authorities are urging anyone who was in the area at the time or has dashcam or mobile phone footage to contact Muswellbrook Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
