“He didn’t even have the balls to step foot into the Hunter” – Repacholi

Federal Labor MP Dan Repacholi gone on the attack following Opposition Leader Peter Dutton’s confirmation that he’s earmarked Liddell as a site for a nuclear reactor.

The location just south of Muswellbrook is one of seven identified by the coalition under their new nuclear energy plan unveiled yesterday.

But Mr Repacholi attacked Mr Dutton’s decision to make the announcement from Sydney.

“He didn’t even have the balls to step foot in the Hunter or any other sites where he plans to put one of his nuclear power stations,” Mr Repacholi said.

“What we heard from Mr Dutton today generates more questions than answers,” he said.
