Concern has been expressed about the increasing number of domestic violence related assaulted recorded in Muswellbrook.
The latest data from the Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research shows the number of these crimes has risen by 7-point-4 per cent in the 12 months to March this year.
Upper Hunter Homeless General Manager Mary Sporer said it’s a frightening situation and more needs to be done to address the issue.
