It appears as though a recommendation to lease the much-maligned Hunter Warbirds Museum at Scone has faced a few hiccups.
Upper Hunter Shire Councillors were locked behind closed doors at length overnight to discuss ways to stem the bleeding of funds the facility has created since it was built at Scone Airport.
The council says it will update the community later this week after talking directly with key stakeholders.

The same response was given following secret talks as well on the future of the Gunman Place Aged Care Hostel in Merriwa.
