Y NSW has opened applications for its flagship youth leadership and civics engagement program, Youth Parliament.
The 2027 program will provide a leadership and advocacy experience for young people from across New South Wales who are in Years 10 to 12.
For more than 25 years, the Y NSW Youth Parliament has empowered young people to explore the issues that matter most to them, develop their leadership skills and work alongside peers from diverse backgrounds to contribute towards meaningful change in their communities.
Participants build skills in communication, critical thinking, teamwork, policy development and advocacy, while gaining a deeper understanding of how change happens in the state.
The program welcomes young people from all backgrounds, experiences and abilities. Applications close on 6 December, and can be made through the Y NSW website.
