Telstra will upgrade the mobile base station that services Cassilis, with works rescheduled to start on Tuesday 27 October.
The company says the upgrade will improve the site’s capacity, meaning faster downloads, smoother streaming and less congestion, and will bring a better 4G and 5G experience for users. Additional upgrade works will run for two days.
During the works, the site will need to be switched off for up to 8-hour periods so the work can be completed safely.
