Australian comedian and icon of the small screen Magda Szubanski has sadly revealed that she has been in an ongoing battle with cancer.
In a post to her social pages, Szubanski revealed that she has shaved her head in anticipation of losing her hair due to her upcoming treatment. She also revealed that sadly she’s been diagnosed with stage four of a rare form of Lymphoma (blood cancer). Szubanski was going to the Doctor’s and discovered the cancer by accident whilst getting a breast screen.
Despite the genuinely horrific news, Szubanski was still able to laugh at it and will start treatment for the cancer immediately. You can check out her video here:
