Mercedes electric vehicles were utilised to transport the cast and crew across various locations, supported by on-site EV charging stations. To keep basecamp running without relying on traditional, noisy generators, the team utilised hydrogen power units (HPUs) from GeoPura. These systems operate with minimal noise and produce only water as exhaust, aligning with Amazon’s broader commitment to sustainability in entertainment.
Harnessing Power for a Good Cause
The core message of Masters of the Universe has always been about finding the power within yourself. In a fitting move, Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel have partnered with Save the Children for a philanthropic campaign tied to the release.
The “You Have the Power!” initiative is designed to mobilise fans to help children worldwide get a healthy start in life, access to education, and protection from harm.
