If you thought the 2022 survival thriller Fall was peak anxiety, it is time to check your heart rate again. Lionsgate has just dropped the full-length trailer for Fall 2: Deadpoint, and it looks like another terrifying journey into the clouds.
This time around, the story follows a deeply traumatised Jax (played by Harriet Slater). After losing her sister, Hunter, in the previous film’s events, Jax decides the best way to honour her memory is by embarking on a highly dangerous climb. She is joined by Luce (Arsema Thomas), and the pair take on the treacherous planks of Thailand’s Mount Kwan.
Naturally, because things can never go smoothly in a survival thriller, a massive rockslide leaves the women completely stranded 5,000 feet in the air.
Expect plenty of vertigo-inducing drops, dark secrets, and cruel twists as Jax is forced to face her worst fears just to survive. The cast is rounded out by Tom Brittney, alongside returning faces Virginia Gardner and Grace Caroline Currey.
Behind the camera, Australian directing duo Peter and Michael Spierig (the minds behind Predestination and Jigsaw) are taking the reins, working from a script by Jonathan Frank and Scott Mann.
