The celebration saw Hemsworth beaming alongside his twin sons Sasha and Tristan, daughter India Rose, 12, and his supportive wife, Elsa. The couple, who tied the knot in 2010 during the Christmas holidays, now reside in a luxurious $30 million mansion in Broken Head near Byron Bay, having relocated from Los Angeles to Australia nine years ago.

In a candid interview with Hola! magazine, Elsa revealed their secret to a happy marriage: laughter. She praised Chris for his ability to diffuse any argument with humour, stating, “We enjoy doing the same stuff and Chris has a great sense of humour. He knows how to take the sting out of things.”

The Hollywood Walk of Fame, an iconic sidewalk in Los Angeles, features stars commemorating celebrities’ contributions to the entertainment industry. Chris Hemsworth joins the ranks of other celebrated Australian actors like Nicole Kidman, Russell Crowe, and Cate Blanchett.

In a humorous twist, Hemsworth confessed to Variety that he once mistook an event at the TCL Chinese Theater for receiving a star. He joked, “I thought that was the Walk of Fame! So when we did it, I thought, ‘Oh cool, I’m getting a star.’ But someone told me, ‘No, that’s not what this is.'”

Robert Downey Jr., Hemsworth’s co-star and friend, delivered a heartfelt yet humorous speech. He recalled reaching out to their Avengers colleagues for words to describe Hemsworth. Jeremy Renner called him “absurdly, annoyingly amazing,” Scarlett Johansson dubbed him a “sensitive leading lady,” and Mark Ruffalo affectionately labelled him a “friend from work.” Chris Evans, with his trademark wit, referred to Hemsworth as the “second-best Chris.”

Downey added, “Beyond the cape and the hammer is a contagious Aussie charm. You are a remarkable human being and a legend. You keep us Hollywood folk on our toes because you’re just the real deal.”

Hemsworth, reflecting on his newfound honour, said, “Like most people, I’d drive past and think, ‘Maybe one day!’ It still feels a little dreamy, to be honest.”

The event was a star-studded affair, with Hemsworth’s family, friends, and fellow actors celebrating his incredible achievements in the film industry.
