Colts and Thoroughbreds set the early pace

Greta-Branxton and Scone have shown why they’ll be the teams to beat in the Group 21 First Grade Competition this year.

The Colts travelled to Pirtek Park yesterday afternoon for their round two clash against Singleton.

Despite it being their first game of the season after last week’s clash with Muswellbrook was postponed…they still put on an impressive display.

They flogged the Greyhounds 58-16.

On Saturday defending champs, the Thoroughbreds levelled out Denman 46-4 at Scone Park.

Aberdeen put the Rams to the sword 26-12 at Alex McKinnon Oval.
