Upper Hunter push for rural crime inquiry

There’s pressure from the Upper Hunter on the state government to order a parliamentary inquiry on the rise of crime in regional parts of New South Wales.

Local Nationals MP Dave Layzell is encouraging residents to share their stories of being victims of crime to force the government into the move.

In a post to Facebook Mr Layzell said car thefts and break and enters are far too common now in the Upper Hunter.
