Upper Hunter invited to join together against DV

Five candlelight vigils will be held across the Upper Hunter tonight to mourn the loss of victims of domestic, family and sexual violence.

The Shine A Light events have been organised by Upper Hunter Homeless Support.

Organiser Mary Sporer said the vigils are designed to be inclusive events for women and men and are open to everyone.

Vigil details are:
Singleton – 5:30pm Uniting Church Singleton
Muswellbrook – 5:30pm Steps of QE2 Building
Scone – 5:30pm Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre
Murrurundi – 5:30pm Murrurundi CWA Building
Merriwa – 5:00pm Merriwa CWA
