A woman in her fifties has sustained serious injuries after being struck by a motorbike in Muswellbrook.
The NSW Ambulance Service says they were called to the intersection of Maitland Street and Lorn Road at a quarter to five yesterday afternoon.
The pedestrian was treated for head, abdominal and pelvic injuries before being airlifted to the John Hunter Hospital by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.

A man was also taken to the same hospital by road ambulance in a stable condition.
