Planned night works will take place on Brook Street in Muswellbrook later this month, with temporary road closures and traffic changes in place.
The works are scheduled for the nights of April 20 and 21 between Bridge Street and the railway crossing. They involve repairs to an existing water main and the completion of road restoration.
There will be no interruption to water supply during the works.
To allow the repairs to be carried out safely, Brook Street will be closed to all traffic, with access permitted only for emergency services.
The closure will be in effect from 7pm to 5am on both nights. During this time, there will be no access from Bridge Street into Brook Street, or from the railway crossing to Bridge Street. A detour will be in place.
Campbells Corner Carpark will be closed for entry and exit via Brook Street, however access to the carpark will remain available via William Street.
