A large crowd is expected to attend an information session in Merriwa tonight about the future of the town’s nursing home.
Gumman Place Hostel is operated by Upper Hunter Shire Council, who want to offload it after accumulating a $2-million debt over the past five years.
The meeting, organised by the Merriwa Progress Association, starts at 630 at the Merriwa Sports Club.
