Major cattle theft from the Upper Hunter

A brazen theft in broad daylight that those responsible have so far gotten away with.

Police are calling for public help to catch those responsible for stealing 65 Black Angus cows and calves from Merriwa.

Detective Sergeant Travis Ware from the Rural Crime Prevention Team said the animals disappeared from a property on Cream of Tartar Road.
