Liddell solar panel manufacturing two years away

The company behind a new solar panel manufacturing plant in the Upper Hunter said it will help cement Australia’s position as the solar technology powerhouse of the world.

Sundrive is planning to establish the plant at the site of the former Liddell Power Station within two years after moving through all the regulatory and planning processes.

Co-founder and CEO Vince Allen said many of the required 500 workers will come from the local community.
