A large fleet of trucks will descend on Aberdeen this afternoon.
The 33 semi-trailers will be loaded with hay for drought-stricken farmers across the Upper Hunter.
One of the organisers told the Hunter Valley Newsroom upwards of 150 farmers across the region will receive hay this time around.

This is the second trip to the Upper Hunter made by the Aussie Hay Runners this year.
