Local farmers, farm managers, family farm businesses and agricultural service providers are invited to a free workshop in Cassilis next month, focused on building resilience and improving decision-making on-farm.
Farming Stronger: Tools for Peak Performance will be held at the Royal Hotel, Cassilis, on Wednesday 7 October, from 9:30am to 3pm. The practical, hands-on session is designed to help farmers and farm teams work smarter, make better decisions under pressure and stay resilient through challenging seasons.
Topics to be covered include decision-making under pressure, managing stress and wellbeing, improving productivity and efficiency, leadership and delegation, building a positive farm culture, and maintaining energy and focus through demanding periods.
The workshop will be presented by agricultural scientist Cynthia Mahoney, who has run similar Farming Stronger sessions for regional communities elsewhere in New South Wales, combining science-backed strategies with practical, real-world farming experience.
The event is free to attend, with morning tea and lunch provided, but registration is essential as numbers are limited.
