The Bureau of Meteorology advises Wollombi Brook at Wollombi peaked at 6.21 metres around
06:00 pm Tuesday 20 May and is currently at 5.53 metres and falling, below the minor flood level
(6.70 m). The Wollombi Brook at Wollombi is expected to remain below the minor flood level during
Wednesday.
The Wollombi Brook at Bulga is currently at 3.15 metres and rising, with minor flooding. The
Wollombi Brook at Bulga is likely to exceed the moderate flood level (3.70 m) Wednesday morning.
The river level may reach the major flood level (4.60 m) Wednesday afternoon.
Low lying areas of Bulga and Wollombi are expected to be impacted by flood waters.
