A crime scene has been established in Muswellbrook overnight following the discovery of a body.
The person is a woman believed to have been in her sixties.
“About 8.30 pm (Monday 30 October 2023), emergency services were called to a property in Sydney Street, Muswellbrook, over concerns for a woman’s welfare.
On arrival, officers from Hunter Valley Police District found the body of a woman. She has not been formally identified but is believed to be aged in her 60s. A crime scene has been established, and investigations are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
