AGL rules out ‘nuclear option’ at Liddell

AGL has ruled out allowing nuclear power generation at the site of the former Liddell Power Station.

Chief Executive Damien Nicks has told the Herald…the company is already developing the area and nuclear energy is not a part of these plans.

This will come as a blow to the Federal Opposition with leader Peter Dutton listing the site as one of several to host the nuclear option in the future.
