Scone Short Film Festival

Celebrate world class, vibrant, Australian storytelling talent.  Now in its fifteenth year, there is something for everyone at the Festival, with a diverse range of short films from comedy, drama and suspense to animation.

Experience a film-lover’s delight, with a selection box of film treats which have screened around Australia, and some around the world. They include Damien Leith, Stephen Curry, Claire Weller Price and Darren Gilshenan. 

As always, we will have some film guests at the Festival to represent their films.   Filmgoers will be able to chat to producers, directors and cast about the making of the films.  Budding film-makers and actors will be able to pick up some tips. 

Vote for your favourite film in the People’s Choice Award, which will be announced on the night.  Maybe you will be the winner of the lucky door prize. 

It’s a really social evening, starting with a light supper included, and wine available to purchase.  The the film program starts at 7pm.  Afterwards, chat with our film guests  and enjoy delicious slices and coffee.  

Scone Films will be rolling out the red carpet for guests and filmgoers, at their pop-up cinema on the corner of Oxford Road and Cooper Street in Scone, at 6pm on Saturday 16th September.
