Meet with an Aged Care Advocate – Muswellbrook Library

Seniors Rights Service will be holding a Community Information Stand at Muswellbrook Library , 126 Bridge Street Muswellbrook on Friday 2nd June from 10am to 1pm. Seniors Rights Service is part of the Older Persons Advocacy Network (OPAN) and provide free and confidential telephone advice, aged care advocacy and support, legal advice and community information to seniors across New South Wales. They assist older people who receive Commonwealth-funded aged care services at home or in residential care, as well as their carers or family members. They listen, clarify issues, provide information, inform older people of their rights, identify possible outcomes, help advocate for older people and, if requested, speak up for the older person.
