Opening Night – Scone Arts & Crafts Members’ Exhibition
Our Members Exhibition has been running in conjunction with the Scone Horse festival for many decades. It showcases the artistic works in a range of mediums of our talented local members.
There are about 200 entries in paintings in watercolour, acrylic, oils and drawings. Lots of ceramics, sculptures, patchwork quilts ,spinning & weaving, and crafts, something of interest for everyone. There are lots of wonderful works for sale to provide unique gifts for something special for Mothers Day.
This is the second year of the Secondary School Art Prize, co-sponsored by Belltrees Pastoral, which I hope will be continued with more years to come to encourage young people to foster their artistic love of art. The winners will be announced at our Opening night Friday 5th May. Doors open 6pm ,official opening by Lee Watts at 7pm, followed with the presentation of winners by Belltrees Pastoral co.
