Percy Jackson fans, it is time to grab your celestial bronze swords. Disney+ has just released the highly anticipated official trailer for Season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and the stakes are higher than ever. Dropping onto our screens with a massive two-episode premiere on November 20, this new season is gearing up to be a wild ride across the mythological world.
For the first time, Rick Riordan’s beloved third novel, The Titan’s Curse, is getting a live-action adaptation. If you thought dodging lightning bolts and surviving the Sea of Monsters was tough, Percy is about to face his most terrifying challenge yet.
This time, the fight is personal. When Annabeth is captured by the dark forces of Kronos, Percy realises he is completely lost without his favourite strategist. The new trailer teases a perilous quest as Percy sets out to rescue his best friend. But saving Annabeth is just the beginning. Along with Grover and some unlikely new allies, Percy has to free a chained goddess, face down a literal Titan’s curse, and stop Mount Olympus from crumbling to the ground. No pressure for a teenager, right?
Fans can expect to see returning stars Walker Scobell, Leah Sava’ Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri reprising their roles. Following the double-episode launch, two new episodes will release weekly on Disney+.
With a prophecy promising dire consequences, Season 3 looks set to push our heroes to their absolute limits. Mark your calendars for November 20, because the race to save Olympus is officially on.
