Adam Scott is making his record 12th Presidents Cup appearance, tying Phil Mickelson for the most appearances in the history of the event.
The Aussie veteran is representing the International Team as they take on the United States at Medinah Country Club.
Scott Starts With A Tough Loss
Scott teamed up with New Zealand’s Ryan Fox in the opening Four ball session.
The pair battled hard but went down 3 and 2 to Wyndham Clark and Collin Morikawa.
Australia’s Min Woo Lee also had a tough start, losing alongside Sungjae Im to world number one Scottie Scheffler and Sam Burns.
USA Takes Early Lead
Team USA finished the opening session with a 3- 2 lead.
But there’s still plenty of golf to come, with the Presidents Cup running until September 27.
