After teasing his talks with Marvel Studios about a return in 2022; Ryan Gosling announced his role at the Marvel panel in Hall H at San Diego Comic con.
While it was confirmed he will work again with his “Star Wars: Starfighter” Director Shawn Levy it’s unclear which incarnation of Ghost Rider he’ll be playing. Nicolas Cage played the Johnny Blaze version in two films, while Gabriel Luna played the Robbie Reyes take.

In March this year while promoting “Project Hail Mary” he said: “We’ll keep hope alive. Some discussions have been had. It’s a complicated situation.”
Fans will have to wait until 2028 to see the complicated situation play out as the “Ghost Rider” movie is set to launch.
