Exciting improvements are coming to Merricks Dog Park in Singleton as part of a major upgrade project aimed at enhancing the space for local residents and their furry friends.
The park will soon feature new trees and natural shade areas, along with additional bubblers, shelters, and seating for visitors. New signage is also being installed to improve navigation and park safety.
Accessibility is a key focus, with new accessible pathways being created throughout the park. A designated small dog area is also being introduced to provide a safer and more enjoyable environment for dogs of all sizes.
The project has been funded by the NSW Government’s Resources for Regions program and is a response to requests from the community for improvements to the dog park, particularly for lighting and a second access gate.
