Equine enthusiasts will descend on the Upper Hunter for the 45th Scone Horse Festival.
Themed “Home is Where the Horse Is: 45 Years of Heart in Scone,” this year’s festival reflects on the enduring bond between Scone’s equestrian heritage and the community that has shaped its legacy as Australia’s Horse Capital.
Kicking off tomorrow is the Scone & District Horse Sports Day, where over 100 horses and riders from schools around NSW will attend White Park to compete in a series of equestrian events.
The much-anticipated Scone Equine Hospital Horse Festival Parade is scheduled to trot through the streets on Saturday and will be followed by the Farrier Exhibition & Demonstration.
High Tea is set to be served in the stables on Sunday for Mother’s Day, ahead of a full week of events that culminates with the Scone Cup Carnival and of course fireworks.
