The latest trailer for the upcoming Justice League movie has just dropped ahead of its Australian release on November 16, 2017 and the question still remains; will it manage to improve on the colossal mess that was Batman v. Superman?
DC Comics’ fifth superhero outing pulls together a cast of big names including Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Ezra Miller (Flash), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Ray Fisher (Cyborg) and supporting roles for Amy Adams, Jeremy Iron and Willem Defoe.
Continuing on from the events of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Superman is still missing, presumed dead and the world is in a state of crisis. Bruce Wayne is forced to assemble a team of metahumans to take on the threat of supervillain Steppenwolf and his Parademons, out to find the three so-called “Mother Boxes” to give them wondrous powers to control and or destroy the planet.
Zack Snyder (Man of Steel) directed most of the film before having to leave the project to deal with a family tragedy. Joss Whedon (The Avengers) stepped in to finish the film.
