While the results haven't been going the way of the Aussies on the pitch, one thing that's stood out during this summer of cricket has been the quality (and mostly friendly) banter and sledging around the wicket. Particularly between Indians wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant and Australian captain Tim Paine.
While the Indians sledging has been shall we say - a bit more direct - Tim Paine has been stealing the headlines with his cheeky one liners and a more friendly approach.
In heat of the battle, Pain quipped one of the lines of the summer, suggesting to Pant that he should stick around for the Big Bash and play for The Hobart Hurricanes and even checked to see if the Indian would be interesting in babysitting his kids so he take the missus out!
And it seems Pant might've taken Paine up on the offer, with the wicket-keeper photographed holding Tim Paine's kids alongside the Aussie skippers wife Bonnie during a New Years Day function with the two teams at Kirribilli House.
