There will be more traffic disruptions in Scone as the bypass works continue to progress.

Changed traffic conditions will be in place on Liverpool Street today (Friday 7th June 2019) as work to lift and install bridge beams over the bridge get carried out, weather permitting, with further work on Wednesday 12 June if it's needed.

Motorists may experience short delays of up to 15 minutes while work is carried out.

Traffic control will be in place to minimise disruptions and ensure safety for workers and motorists.

Road users will also experience an increase in truck movements through the CBD with deliveries to the project site of road base material from the south of Scone along Kelly, Liverpool and Aberdeen streets.

These deliveries started on Wednesday 5 June and be carried out between 7am and 6pm on weekdays and between 8am and 1pm on Saturdays until late July, weather permitting.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.

Roads and Maritime Services thanks motorists and the Scone community for their patience during this time.
