Jockey airlifted to hospital after race fall

A jockey has suffered head injuries after falling from a horse in Scone.

The 35 year old was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital after came off his ride at Scone Racecourse yestedray afternoon

The man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being tranported to Scone Airport to rendezvous with the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.

The patient is reportedly in a stable condidtion.
