Upper Hunter dentists has slammed the Perrotett Government morning over a blowout in the public dental waiting list.

The Australian Dental Association claims there are currently 20-thousand people on the waiting list for dental treatment within the Hunter New England Local Health District.

Association's New South Wales President, Dr Michael Jones said our region is one of the worst in the state with an average waiting time of 18 months to see a public dentist.
