A vote tonight in Singleton to give the Mayor and Councillors a pay rise.

A report will be considered at the regular council meeting which recommends a two per cent increase in salary.

Mayor Sue Moore's pay packet would rise to just over 67-thousand dollars a year if approved while Councillors would receive 21-thousand dollars annually to represent the communities best interests.
