A bar in Singleton has been listed as a venue of concern after two new cases of COVID-19 was identified overnight.
Anyone who attended the following venues on the specified dates and times are casual contacts (unless they have been contacted by NSW Health as close contacts) and must get tested and isolate until a negative test result is received:
- Imperial Hotel, Singleton (bar & gaming area only) on Sunday 19 September, from 12.15pm - 12.45pm.
The Hunter region recorded 31 cases of the virus.
18 are from Lake Macquarie LGA - Three in Cooranbong, Two in Charlestown, Toronto, Warners Bay, and one in Belmont, Bolton Point, Booragul, Cardiff South, Dudley, Edgeworth, Mount Hutton, Wangi Wangi and Woodrising.
Five are from Cessnock LGA - three in Kurri Kurri and two in Weston.
Three are from Newcastle LGAn - in Adamstown, Newcastle East and Wallsend.
Two are from Maitland LGA - in Metford and Thornton.
Two are from Singleton LGA - in Singleton.
One is from Port Stephens LGA - in Raymond Terrace.
20 were infectious in the community and eight were isolating during their infectious period, with three still under investigation.
There are 743 close contacts isolating throughout the region.
