According to Ausgrid's outages map power has been fully restored to Muswellbrook.
Residents in parts of Singleton and Muswellbrook are waking up to no power this morning.
There was a severe storm that ripped through parts of the Upper Hunter late yesterday with multiple SES crews out and about in Singleton responding to calls for help.
Multiple roads were closed in Singleton yesterday afternoon but most have reopened; there are some areas still without power - areas in Milbrodale, Wylies Flat, McDougalls Hill, Maison Dieu, Glenridding, Whittingham, Howes Valley and Branxton are still without power.
Ausgrid estimates it should be back on by around 10am but there are complex repairs being done.
There are also about 500 customers in Muswellbrook with no power.
The south side of town has been affected in an area stretching from near the Workers Club to the Skellatar Stock Route.
Ausgrid is investigating the cause and estimates power will be returned by midday.
For residents at Gungal you're still without power, there are complex repairs underway to get the power back on.
Again Ausgrid estimates it will be returned to normal at around 10am.
